Luis Rodriquez

Luis originally worked with The Oakland REACH as a community organization partner, helping families in Oakland navigate school choice. Luis recently transitioned into the CFO role to support the strategy, operations, and finance areas of the organization. Luis channels his spirit through his abuelita, who embraced her community and made a lot of personal sacrifices so two generations later Luis could pursue his personal and professional aspirations. He has a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, a masters in Strategic Management, and a masters in Educational Leadership. Before coming to The Oakland REACH, Luis worked in a big 5 consulting firm, state level policy, national non-profits, and started and ran an Oakland based non-profit. Luis loves to spend time with his family, time out and in nature, and time in his community helping immigrant and underserved families.
