Remembering Micshell

Today we remember a Fierce, Glamorous (say that four times), Bold, Loving, Caring, Giving, and Talented woman. And let’s not forget, she wasn’t one to play in the kitchen either, she could cook her A** OFF!

Micshell was a beautiful spirit who was always eager to learn and do more, not just for herself but also for her community. She fought for equitable educational outcomes for Oakland students, fed those in need in her community, made sure people knew what resources were available, and that’s just scratching the surface.

Micshell was a dedicated mother of two young men that meant the world to her. She wanted nothing but the best for them and wanted her youngest conquer his dreams. She could not see her grandchild’s entrance into this world, but she is definitely watching over his footsteps from above.

Today we are honored to remember a diva, a beautiful spirit that once walked this earth and now has wings. May she continue to rest in perfect peace. We love you and miss you, Ms. Fabulous, until we meet again!
