It’s time for access, not just choice

Oakland REACH parent leader Micshell Bunton shares her story with Great School Voices

Oakland, CA — The Oakland REACH’s own Micshell Bunton recently shared her personal story of choice and access with Great School Voices.

In the piece, Micshell describes overcoming the knowledge barrier to learn about school choice, only to have her son land on a waitlist and discover the access barrier to quality schools in Oakland. She pledges to keep fighting so that everyone can have access to a quality education.
