Ramya Gopal

Ramya is a generalist by training, with over 15 years leading product, strategy, and research for equity-focused nonprofits. She's built a specific expertise in designing for families: as product lead for Family Playlists at PowerMyLearning and earlier as the head of the R&D Lab at Mission Asset Fund, building financial coaching tools for families. That same commitment to equity showed up at Assessment for Good, where she most recently built game-based assessments for Black and Latinx students.

She joined The Oakland REACH to build on her conviction that families are the missing piece in education. Ramya holds an MBA from the Yale School of Management and a B.A. from Swarthmore College.
